Basket Matches Tracker developed by MOSERI LTD ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Basket Matches Tracker mobile application (the "App") and the companion website at basketstat53.xyz. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the App or the website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Introduction
The App is designed for tracking basketball game statistics on your device. It does not require registration or a user account. This policy covers both the App and the website, including the built-in browser that the App uses to display this policy and the support page.
Information We Collect
Automatically Collected Information
When you open the App for the first time, and during normal use, the following information is collected automatically:
- Anonymous identifier. The App generates a unique, random identifier on first launch and stores it on your device. It is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal detail. It helps us recognize the same installation across sessions for analytics and attribution purposes.
- Device language and region. The App reads your device's language and region setting so that content can be displayed appropriately.
- Google Advertising ID. The App reads the Google Advertising ID provided by Google Play Services. This identifier is used for marketing attribution — to understand which channels lead new users to install the App. You can reset it or opt out of ad personalization at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
- Attribution data. Information about how you discovered the App — such as the installation source, referral campaign, and campaign name — is collected to measure marketing performance.
We use AppsFlyer as our mobile attribution provider. The Google Advertising ID, attribution data, and anonymous identifier are shared with AppsFlyer. AppsFlyer also collects standard device information (IP address, device model, operating system version, install referrer) as part of its service. Refer to the AppsFlyer Privacy Policy for full details.
Built-in Browser
The App includes a built-in browser that is used to display this Privacy Policy and the Support page directly within the App. The built-in browser does not collect additional data beyond what is described in the section above. Any websites loaded in the built-in browser may set cookies (including third-party cookies), local storage, and database storage as part of standard browser behavior. These operate under the privacy practices of the websites you visit. You can clear this data by clearing the App's storage in your device settings.
Photos You Select
The App lets you attach a player photo to a player profile. Photo selection uses your device's system photo picker, and the App only receives the specific image you choose. The App does not scan or browse your photo library. Selected photos are stored locally on your device as part of the saved team data and are not uploaded to our servers.
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following information only on your device, using standard app storage. This data is not transmitted to us:
- Team rosters, player profiles, and player photos you add
- Saved games, live game state, and historical statistics
- App preferences and settings
- Your privacy acceptance status
You can delete all of this information at any time using the "Clear Data" option in the App's Settings screen, by clearing the App's storage from your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.
Support and Bug Reports
The App's Support page provides a contact form for sending us a message or reporting a bug. When you submit a support request, you may voluntarily provide:
- Your name and email address
- A description of your question or the issue you encountered
- An optional file attachment — you can take a photo using your device's camera, or choose an existing file (such as a screenshot, image, PDF document, text file, or log file) through your device's file picker
This information is submitted only when you choose to send a support request. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry and to resolve the reported issue. The App itself does not access your camera directly — any photo capture is handled entirely by your device's built-in camera app, which manages its own permissions.
Network Connections
Most connections between the App and our servers are secured using HTTPS. In limited cases, the App may also make plain HTTP connections; where this occurs, the data being transmitted is not encrypted in transit.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- To operate and deliver core features of the App
- To measure installation sources and the effectiveness of marketing efforts
- To respond to your support requests and resolve reported issues
- To detect and fix technical problems, including crashes and errors
Third-Party Services
We share information with the following service providers strictly for the purposes described above:
- AppsFlyer — mobile attribution and marketing analytics. Privacy Policy
- Google Play Services — provides the Google Advertising ID. Privacy Policy
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share support-request contents with third parties except where required to investigate or resolve the issue you reported.
Data Retention
- Anonymous identifier: Persists on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
- Google Advertising ID: Managed by Google Play Services. You can reset it at any time in your device settings.
- AppsFlyer installation identifier: Managed by AppsFlyer for the lifetime of the installation.
- Cookies and local storage set in the built-in browser: Follow standard browser expiration rules and can be cleared by clearing the App's storage.
- Data stored on your device: Remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Support requests: Retained only as long as needed to answer your question and for reasonable record-keeping of support activity.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we handle. Most transmissions between the App and our servers are secured using HTTPS. Information stored on your device is protected by the App's isolated storage and by your device's own security controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
You have several controls over the information described in this policy:
- Reset or opt out of the Google Advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
- Clear the anonymous identifier, cookies, local storage, and locally stored data by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.
- Use the "Clear Data" option inside the App's Settings screen to remove team rosters, saved games, and player photos.
- Contact us at the address below to request access to or deletion of information associated with a support request you submitted.
Depending on your jurisdiction, additional rights (such as access, correction, or deletion) may apply. To exercise them, use the contact details provided at the end of this policy.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
